Interior Design Advocacy & Legislation: What's next in NYS?

Every day in state capitals around the country, legislators are making decisions on issues that affect the Interior Design profession and how we practice.  IDLNY, IIDA and ASID have joined forces to offer an event full of education and empowerment to demonstrate how you can support advocacy efforts and get involved for the benefit of the interior design profession.

Please join us and learn how you can become an advocate for your profession to protect and expand your rights as an interior designer, and learn about current legislation.

Agenda:

  • 3:00-4:00  Tour of the New York State Capitol Building

After the tour, reconvene at the Empire State Plaza Convention Center Meeting Room #5 for:

  •  4:30-5:00  Networking Reception
  •  5:00-6:00  Speakers including the President of IDLNY
  •  6:00-7:00  Advocacy CEU

Refreshments will be served!

This is an “a-la-carte” event; come for the tour and Networking and be home in time for dinner. Can’t get there before 5:00? Join us after work for refreshments and attend the CEU.  We put the most important part, our speakers, in the middle of the event so that you can easily join us for that session on the front end or back end of attending. Of course, we hope you will come for it all!

Thanks to our sponsors!
